Network Development For Radar Smogowy Air Quality Sensors
For Radar Smogowy, WizzDev developed a network of air quality sensors, which provide aggregated online results in real-time. The sensors help track the level of PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 particles and determine up-to-date information about the air quality in various locations around Poland. Thousands of sensors send data to the AWS IoT Core serverless infrastructure. Dedicated sub-portals support local councils, and mobile apps enable users to track the data efficiently.
Specialized Software Framework for EnOcean Microcontrollers
Firmware development for heat pump system
For SmartGrid-X heat pump systems, WizzDev developed an IoT remote monitoring and control firmware solution powered by ESP32 microcontrollers. Communicating directly via a TTL interface, the system transmits real-time telemetry to AWS IoT Core over GSM while supporting Over-the-Air (OTA) updates for seamless maintenance. The upgraded firmware features automated system adjustments, direct remote diagnostics, and external water tank temperature monitoring.
Additionally, a fail-safe mechanism suspends operation whenever parameters fall outside acceptable ranges or communication is lost, ensuring safe and reliable performance. Grid demand response is handled separately through spot-price-based control, allowing operation to be adjusted according to current energy market conditions.
